How to Find Peace in Life

Anxiety can be hard to control. We have panic attacks. There are moments when we feel like we

can't breathe. We feel trapped.

But we aren't alone. We are never ever alone. Why?

Because God is always with us. Our friends are always here for us. You are not the only one

feeling this way. So many others are going through the same thing as you. Whenever you feel

alone, there are ways to feel better.

You can FaceTime a friend, spend time with a pet, cook yourself a small meal, hug your mom,

write a journal entry. Wrap yourself in blankets and read a book or watch a movie. Give yourself

a spa if you want. Whatever makes you feel at peace. Take a breath. Pray. Focus on what

keeps you at peace. When you feel like you can't control anything, focus on your feet touching

the ground. Remember that God created that ground, He knows it's steady. You will not fall.

Pray a quick Hail Mary. Take slow, deep breaths. Close your eyes. Picture Jesus holding out His

hands. Picture Him giving you a warm embrace. Picture yourself carrying a cross. You want

help, but this cross is preparing you for what's next. After walking along, you are standing at a

cliff. You can see the other side but you can't reach it. You use your cross to get to the other side

by laying it flat over the hole and crawling across. God gave you that cross to help you for

what's next. With each anxiety attack, you get up stronger. Remember, you are not alone.

Whenever you feel alone or are having a panic attack, use these methods. Remember that God

cares. He loves you so much that He sent down His only Son to earth, even if it meant dying for

our sake. When you think of that, nothing seems as scary anymore.

God loves you.
