The Presence of Christ in the Eucharist
One of the most beautiful aspects of the Catholic faith is that we truly have Jesus Christ present, body, blood, soul, and divinity, in the Eucharist. The Catholic Church’s teachings on the Eucharist are essential to the Faith

Scrolling with Purpose: Using Social Media for Good
“Put that phone away, you’re wasting your time!” “You are getting brainwashed by all the social media nonsense!” “Nope, give me that phone right now!” We’ve all heard these phrases, and maybe have even uttered them silently. But is social media all that bad? Today, we're going to discuss social media and its impact on your life in various ways. On the one hand, excessive social media use can lead to feelings of loneliness and depression. Cyberbullying, online harassment, pre

Patriotism
So, we’ve reached the end of Summer. Sad, but true. This Summer, you may have had a family barbeque, you may have not. You may have gone to a parade, and you may have not. You hopefully were able to go outside and enjoy the beautiful weather, but, once again, maybe not. You may have also celebrated the Fourth of July… or not.
Now, there was a bit of a lingering question in July about if people should be celebrating Independence Day.

St. Joseph
Saint Joseph is the husband to our Blessed Mother Mary and earthly father to Jesus Christ. He is the Patron Saint of fathers, workers, unborn children, travelers, immigrants, happy deaths, carpenters, and the Universal Church.

Modern Evangelization Using Art, Music, and Social Media
The majority of people nowadays have an account on at least one of the many social media platforms. Social media is a great way to share about your life, among other things. On that note, I've been seeing a lot more people sharing about Catholicism and religion in general. Because of that, people have a more accessible opportunity to learn about religion and maybe even join the Church. Using social media platforms is a great way to evangelize because it’s easier to reach a la

Don't Manifest; Pray!
This article focuses on the dangers of manifesting, which is a New Age idea. However, New Age and New Thought ideas are extremely dangerous and Catholics need to be weary of anything concerning these two philosophies. New Thought and Age are similar, and both of them should be avoided. I will write in more depth about them in the future, but for now, this article simply aims to expose the truth and peril behind manifesting.

The Issue with Pride
June just passed, which brought debate for all the present, past, and future political pundits out there. In the last decade or so, Pride has been more than an issue, it’s been an ideology.

The History of Notre Dame De Paris
Most people have most likely at least heard the words “Notre Dame,” whether that be the university or the Disney movie, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Either way, the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral is a famous gothic cathedral from the middle ages.

Poverty from a Catholic Perspective
Poverty has become both more and less of a problem at the same time over the years. In 2023, the US Census Bureau published a report on people living in poverty from 2021 to 2023. In 2021, 11.6% of the population was below the poverty line. In 2023, that number has only decreased by 0.5%. Although that number may not have come down that much, that's a little more than 100,000 people. Every time we see the US poverty peak, it seems to come down and then back up in a cycle.

The Capital of the Catholic Church: St. Peter's Basilica
The pope is the leader of the Catholic Church, but where does he lead from? The pope lives in a country called Vatican City and leads mass in St. Peter’s Basilica and in St. Peter’s Square.
The architectural history of St. Peter’s Basilica is a long one. Pope Nicholas V proposed the idea of rebuilding the Old St. Peter’s Basilica after seeing its condition, but construction didn’t begin until 1506 when Pope Julius II placed the first stone.

The Issue of Parenthood
I chose this issue because we just recently celebrated Mother’s Day, in which we as Catholics also acknowledge Mary as our Heavenly Mother.

Dealing with Infertility while Respecting Life
Children are true gifts from God. Every human being is created by God, and as every person is a child of God, every person has a right to life. From conception, until they are taken to be with the Lord, every person deserves to live. This right does not spring forth from any deed, rather, it emerges from the love God has for His people.

The Crusades
The Crusades were military campaigns between the 11th and 13th centuries that primarily aimed to reclaim the Holy Lands from the Muslims who had centuries of prior expansions. Before the Christians involved themselves, the Muslims had taken over two-thirds of the Christian land.

From a Catholic perspective, the war in Gaza is a profound humanitarian and moral tragedy that calls for a response stemming from the Church’s teachings on peace, justice, and the dignity of human life. Friendship: A Hidden (or Disregarded) Superpower
Undoubtedly the core unit of society and the foundation of any city, state, or country are families, which we are born into. Meanwhile, our friendships - those people who are second only to family in their influence over our enculturation - are dependent on us. Having the ability to pick our friends is a big responsibility!
