The Importance of Catholicism

People have left the Catholic Church for many different reasons, and one of them is that it
is not as engaging as other services. Catholicism is a faith that yields what you put into it. Many
people attend weekly masses, and some attend only the Christmas and Easter services. But if that
is all you are willing to do to have a relationship with the Lord, that is why it may appear boring.
A reason people leave the faith is that they find the services uninteresting. However, the
primary reason why people attend Mass is to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. People forget
that this is why we attend Mass each week: it's to have Him be a part of us. And no matter how
boring the rest of the Mass may seem to some people, it is what God wanted from us; it was His
wish that we reverently worship Him. And this is something that we all need to understand and
respect. And once people truly give the Mass a chance, and really focus and think about all the
wonderful words being said during this time, it truly benefits a person's relationship with Christ
throughout their Catholic faith.
Another reason people have left the faith and why it is something they should not have
done is that it can be “too much work.” The Catholic faith recommends attending weekly Mass
while receiving the sacraments necessary to live a life for Christ. Many people, including myself,
have probably been scared of going to confession and participating in all seven sacraments. This
is a normal feeling, but not a bad thing. God gifted us with the things He knew were necessary
for us to live a life that would meet Him in heaven, and that involves the sacraments. From my
experience, starting your faith journey is something that is very difficult. Each person feels and
sees God through different eyes, so the way that you communicate and worship Him is different.
However, having a strong, faith-filled community around you really helps to enrich your walk
with Christ.
Something else that people consider while debating on leaving is that they don’t
understand the importance of Catholicism. This is a faith that not only gives you God's shoulder
to lean on, but also that of all the saints and the Virgin Mary. This is a topic that takes a lot of
time for people to wrap their heads around, but still, after truly understanding all the amazing
things these holy people can help with, it really gives a clear sense of how this faith truly benefits
a person. Each saint has lived their life revolving around Christ, and even through some of the
hardships in their lives, they were able to find Christ at the center of their lives. And having the
opportunity to learn from and look up to these God-filled people really benefits one's walk with
Christ.
To conclude, this is a vital faith, one that requires personal dedication and commitment,
but offers an amazing reward in return: eternal life. So, although at times you might not want to
get up and go to church, read the Bible, or pray the rosary, it's essential to remember that these
are all small stepping stones that lead us to a higher place after our time on Earth. And that
Catholicism is truly a faith created by God Himself.
